Online dating Web sites are nothing new. Many times, they are a great way for people to find a date or start a relationship if they're single.

And if they're married.

At least that's the case for AshleyMadison.com, a dating Web site for men and women who are seeking romantic encounters outside of their current relationships.

The Web site, established in 2001, has received coverage from CNN, “20/20" and “Dr. Phil." With its nearly 1.9 million members, Faye Matthews, who organizes Northwest Singles dances and mixers, thinks the success of AshleyMadison.com is a bad sign.

“I just think it's an example of the morals of our country right now," Ms. Matthews says. “People don't take a partnership or a marriage seriously anymore."
